Great 'on a budget' kits

While most of us would love to be able to spent £100+ on the latest super-kit I'm wondering which kits people consider complete bargain in terms of detail, fit and accuracy?

To get the ball rolling I'd like to add these, which I have found are really nice:
Airfix 1:48 ME-109-E new tool A05120
Airfix 1:48 Sptifire PRXiX A05119
Tamiya 1:48 61067 Bristol Beaufighter TF X

Let's say a maximum of £30 per kit.

The 1/48 scale Airfix Spitfire Mk.XII I just finished building was amazing, it almost snapped together and I was blown away by the cockpit detail and crispness of the mold. There was no flash whatsoever and the clear canopy parts were crystal clear, even the tires were weighted and the instruction sheet had some colour on the paint scheme. As I said in my posting the other day, I really thought I was building a Tamiya or some other high end kit and had to keep reminding myself it was an Airfix kit. Airfix really outdid themselves this time with this newer tooling and I cant say enough about how impressed I was with the kit. For the cheap price it was worth every penny and I will definatley be buying more of the newer Airfix kits.

Just nearly finished the Tamiya 1/48 AD-6 Skyraider,been an excellent kit for £20
revell 1/32 red arrow for price(£12 i paid)for size

Agree with the Revell 1/32 Red Arrow Hawk, I would also say the ZTZ 99-A by HobbyBoss for £20 or less you get individual link tracks, PE and it's an unusual modern tank.

Revell 1:72 B-17G Flying Fortress is a great kit and can be bought for about £18

I'd say the vast majority of recent tooled Airfix and Revell kits are under £30 and I have enjoyed making every one I've started so far and normally quite accurate (Revell Halifax aside).

I suppose it depends what you are after from the model, but from what I've read the perfect kit of anything has yet to be made, if it's possible.

You can buy Revell's 1/32 Arado Ar196 for around £20.
You get a lot for the value.

The Revell 1/32 Bae (Red Arrow Hawk) @ £11.00 a lot of plastic for your money.
