Hasegawa 1/32 J2M3 Raiden

Today I'll be starting on the Hasegawa 1/32 Raiden. Having looked at all the parts I must say that I'm very impressed with the level of detail. The Machine Gun Barrels are recessed at the dangerous end which is nice and so are the Exhausts, not to any great degree but it saves on buying Quickboost Resin ones. The Pilot is great and can be posed Saluting or hands on Controls. All panel lines are crisp and look in scale. I must say that the Clear parts are probably the best I've seen in some time. The only let down are the Decals, mine seem to have quite a lot of water marking on them where they may have got damp at some stage. But after they've been applied and had a couple of coats of clear they should come up fine. I also have the Eduard Big - Ed for the Raiden and will use where I think the kit can be improved. All in all a great kit.
