Holy Cow

We're working on the same kit
I started mine a year ago. Then I packed up with the Mrs. and moved out west and left the 7ton in storage with my stash (if you've followed any of my vids). Anyway, that's a sweet kit, and I agree that there is something nice about the old kits. Oh, I build new stuff too, but the price is less damaging on my wallet
If I remember. . . I'm pretty much where you are at the moment. Two more weeks 'til I find out what condition it is in (along with my stash.

Morning Russ.
Hope you blow the dust off the box and the kit is tip top when you get it back. I'm nearly done with the Flak gun and maybe in a couple of weeks when I have time I can put some primer on and then go for it!!!
Thanks for the feedback mate
Lenny

That kit is from 1972? Could've fooled me, your craftsmanship doesn't hurt either! Can't wait to see further progress on this build.

I love this kit

..... Its another on my wish list.
Dragon do a smart kit in 1:35 and I checked out you tuber "qdc748a" when he built this up.
He did the transport type ( no mounted flak just lots of figures ) and the quality was excellent.
Will be following this closely....
Keep up the fantastic work sir....
Regards Andy

Me again.
I did this at the weekend and I took the plunge and used for the first time some baking soda to replicate mud and earth. Once all painted and weathered it should

look a treat!!!
If it doesn't I'm going to blame Luis!!!
As always. Any comments are very welcome.
Lenny

Take care Lenny! Muddy it is! Is there any ways to remove some of it if you think you have too much? Interesting technique!

All that baking soda is gonna make this one dirty halftrack. Still can't wait to see it put together!!!
Could one articulate the roadwheels? The way the suspension arms look like they can be shifted as if there's a bump in the road.

Hey Lenny,
Dusted off the kit and she is looking all right. Even made the trip 2,000+ miles without a problem. Now all I need is time to finish. I think it will have to wait for a while. Will talk more about the trip on my August update.
Russ.
