This model is part of the Airfix Victoria Cross Icons 4 kit Gift Set (display stand not included, that's actually from a broken diecast Sea King Helicopter!)
Not the greatest kit in the world, but I'm quite pleased with the outcome despite some 'issues'.... (Please see the build thread)
The Bristol Blenheim Mk IV, piloted by Acting Wing Commander Hughie Idwal Edwards, VC, No. 105 Squadron, RAF Swanton Morley, Norfolk, England, July 4th, 1941:
Thanks for looking,

Love it. Nice work on this old tool
This tooling was the first model I ever did a quarter of a century ago. Brings back some memories.

Sorry for coming late!
Been following Your build...wow.
First I take my hat of for your stamina and guts to tackle this old, crude simple kit!
What a challenge!!!
Said from experience building many many kits like this, when they were new!! Hehehe
And back then I also used the hairy stick. (airbrush was only used by the pros back then)
Holy cow mate!!!
You did a fantastic job on this kit mate, the result from that crappy flashy sprues to this fine result is Amazing!

In fact, guys like You and RobertA have inspired me to want to do an "old school" build again.
As in, Old kit, Enamels, Brush, and "real glue" = no modern like hot/melt, or CA.
Just to feel the nostalgia...and the wonderful smell of Enamel paint. (miss it a Little I must confess)
Actually have a suitable kit, the old Revell Do 335. But will probably get the old Heller Viggen (sold in a bag now for 5£)
Built that one Before and its "ok".

Old style modelling mate, you can't beat it!

No enamels for me though. Tis all acrylics
