They are indeed 28mm figures (by Front Rank) and yes they are to be part of my latest war games army.

Thanks Chris, great figures at any scale. I have painted a few front rank 40mm AWI figures and enjoyed doing those. Seeing yours I might have just to have a look at the 28mm range.

I have been to a couple of war games shows and some of the armies look spectacular in their massed ranks and yours would sit with the best of them. I must admit though that, despite patient explanation by participants, I could not make head nor tail of what was going on in terms of the toing and froing of the games. My slow brain no doubt! Salute is coming up soon, perhaps I'll give it another go.
