In my opinion, its another great kit for airfix...the new molds are simply great. I ve decided that planes 1/72 its my "thing", and the new molds from airfix are going to be the perfect training subjects for learning all the new things...then later i ll advance to the eduards with photoetched parts...

I´ve managed some time to continue with the model...

I m trying a pre shading by brush...and for the first time a very little experience with some scratch build in the motor...its turning out ok , i think...

The pre shading is "working" very subtle (maybe too much)...its really difficult to understand when painting the coat by brush, if enough is enough...
Let s see how it ends...

Another update in the model. Painting is finished

The pre shade is visibly on the underside, and in the tail, but its a bit too subtle...next time it will be better.

I m having difficulty with the canopys...the mask doesn t seal it , and (because i paint by brush) a little bit of pain, always gets trough, this time even the prime...that is really difficult to correct. Next model i m going to try to do it free hand, and the correct with the toothpick.

Next procedures...Bufalo, Decals, Bufalo, Panel Wash, General Wash, Filter, and Matt Varnish to end !

The engine became a bit more "alive" with the scrach build (if i can call it that, just added a few metal wire, and parts). I going to leave the engine open.

Very nice. Well done. Doing a revell 109 myself at the moment. Interesting to see that the airfix has much more
detail. Starting to think thats a trend...

Concluded

It turn out a bit too dirty (again), i really have to control the washes and pigments...

I put a bit of pastel chalk on the panel lines , and i liked the effect.

Rest of the photos on the concluded topic.
