my first model

this is my first spitfire model in 1/48 scale but the paint job has gone wrong. There are hard lumps here and there, i painted two coats, would the humbrol acrylic thinner get the coats off?

Hi Ash. I take it that it is acrylic paint rather than enamel? Anyway, you might find that the thinner lifts the flatter paint rather than smoothing out the lumps! You could try a bit of fine sandpaper or wet and dry. Once smooth you may have to add another coat of paint. if painting by brush, thin the paint well and brush with several thin coats of paint, allowing each layer to dry fully between coats.
