This is my first thread and only my 2nd build in quite a few years here goes.





here is the finished cockpit after 6hrs work and 13 decals







the instructions were confusing with some of the paint call outs they would be one colour and on the next page they would be another colour



the wing sections fitted together well as with the tail section but there are a few fitting issues







a quick question as i'm hand brushing this any tips for the panel lines would be helpful the detail is quite good so will it work as well

made quite a bit of progress




I dry brushed a little XF-56 on the burners ( not sure what they are called lol )


got the landing gear ready for installing


and did some work on the weapons

Just a small update
started on the camo




still need to sort that joint out

the weapons are all finished

eventually got the camo finished did it all with brush think it's turned out ok









Next a mamouth decal session theres over 100 to put on this.

Finally got the decals finished just need to add the weapons and canopy, not decided wether to have it open or not.

Nice job, Gaz on one of my favorite British fighter jets! I want to buy two of those and build one in the R.A.F camo colors that you have done here, and, I'd like to do one in the "Desert Storm" pink colors...."Snoopy Airways" as flown by Squadron Leader Paul "Pablo" Mason.
