Airfix 1/48 Messerschmitt Bf109E Tropical

Post by JonMW »

This has been sitting on the shelf almost done for a few weeks now, only thing missing was the antenna wire. Got that done during the weekend, so now I can definitely call this done. It's build straight from the box except for the wire where I used a thin fishing line. This is the first plane I've build in over 20 years, have only done cars and the odd Star Wars kit for a long time. So I more or less just followed Paul's technique guide to the letter except for using Vallejo paints. I did have quite a bit of fun building this and think I need to buy some more planes.

You did a great job with that kit!

I did the same scheme when I built it...I need to get another. :)

Thanks for the comments! The reason I picked this scheme was that it was easy to paint, not too much masking. So it was purely done out of laziness, well almost I did like the look of it as well.
