AMTRAC painting

Post by Gb64c »

Hi all

I am completing a US LVT 1 AMTRAC Alligator and want to paint it the grey color.

Does any one have a recommendation on what Tamyia, Vallejo, Or Italaria color or others that would be close to accurate, acrylic please.

I have a few grey Tamiyas but see the make a Sea Grey. I can mix some as well.

Thanks

Greg

Do you know the FS number you're looking for? Try the iModelkit app for a match.

Ok, so I primed it in black, then a coat of Tamiya Hull Red to simulate rust proof primer, and chipping compound and Tamiya Dark Sea Grey.

Chipped and scratched it, so far it looks good.
