National Museum of the USAF--reference requests

Hey all,

I'm working on a trip to the USAF museum in May to get some reference photos for some projects I want to build this year. It's an absolutely fantastic museum with an overwhelming display of aircraft. I've been there several times and can literally spend days there.

I'm putting an open invitation out for anyone who is looking for specific reference photos. I'd be happy to take any snapshots requested provided I can get the appropriate shot. I can tell you from experience that most aircraft are in a parked position and therefor photos of cockpits are often not possible. However, complete unit designations, nose art, color schemes, etc. are fairly easy to photograph as well as very close up details that are not readily available online or in books. If you want to know exactly how many hydraulic and static line cables make up the front landing gear of a F-111 I can probably get a picture of it.

You can find a list of all the planes they have on exhibit here: http://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/shared ... 22-016.pdf
