Tamiya 1/35 M3 Lee

Post by RobertK »

Ok, it's been a while since I finished a model. Have I been inactive? Well, not really, I have just been adding stuff to my shelf of doom, my inexperience and my curiousity towards new cool techniques often results into 'interesting' looks, haha.

Well, here is the all cool M3 Lee! I picked it up cheap and with metal barrels, just couldn't resist!
As you might can see the pictures are quite bad, my DSLR was charging so I took the pictures from the smart phone instead.
You can of course also see some of my experiments with acrylic wash, airbrushed (with masks) stars etc.. Doesn't really look that good but I'm quite happy to actually just finish something

I can tell you've put a hell of a lot of work into this and it shows.
Well done bud!
The truth is in the practice, it's the only way we really learn and progress. My hat is off to you for it Robert. Excellent stuff.
I must have had ten or more practice pieces on my shelf of doom when I first got back into the hobby. I wasn't brave enough to show them to anyone.

Nice job Robert! I'm not an artillery builder, just aircraft and know nothing about tanks and armored vehicles, but it looks really good to me, mate!

Cheers, :cheers2:
