I finish this the other day and I must say im glad its off the bench as its a horrible kit, It was one of those shelf of doom kits that I thought would never get finish. My wife picked it up for me because she seen it was a Marks Models Special Edition (Marks Models is my local model store) which had decals for the Irish Air Corps by Max decals (which is the only good thing about the kit)
It has raised panel lines which aint straight and the decals that come in the standerd boxing are a joke, iv never seen decals so badly out of register so there would be no way they could be used, thank god for the max decals.

Anyway I rescribed most of the panel lines to try make it look a bit better, The paints I used where Cidatel ironbreaker for the silver ( its not the right silver but it looks ok ) the for the orange I used humbrol enamel which was to transparent so it took about 5 coats so now there is a step in the paint

The Magister is probably the plane that got me hooked on aircraft, I live about 10mins from the Irish Air Corps base in Casement aerodrome so when I was a kid I would sit on the roof of my dads coal shed and check out the Silver Swallows doing there training maneuvers, it would be the highlight of my day. Now we have PC-9s flying around which are beautiful planes but they cant beat the jets.

That's a strange looking aircraft, I've never heard of it until now, and, it's similar colors to one that BenC123 posted today...a DeHavilland Vampire in silver with orange areas.

Yoiu know the first time that I saw the Fouga was in a french comic that I read as a kid it is Tanguy and Laverdure , it was drawn by Uderzo , think was one of the authors from Asterix , and yes I like very much these Comics ...They were french pilots and the histories were adventures involving planes , and when I saw It I said , hmmm strange looking but beautifull plane
And about your build just great, nice painted and nice to see the Ireland Air Colors colors , didn't knew , but they are very nice

That's really cool, I was more into Batman my dad just reminded me about a time when one of the pilot's almost took our chimney off and my mum almost took a heart attack.
