Airfix 1:76 King Tiger

Made a start on my first armor

So here goes got the tub all glued and the wheels on never fitted so many wheels before let alone paint that many

Painted with humbrol 94 matt brown yellow

Then tried to dirty them up a bit with some thinned revell 94 leather brown

might of gone a little ott but still learning

next the tracks i gave them a base coat of tamiya xf-1 flat black

then some more of the thinned leather brown on the outside and slightly thicker on the inside

then finally dry brushed wit tamiya xf-56 metallic grey

Looks nice so far, you did great on the tracks there, they look awesome!

So camo pattern finished a little detailing and a couple of coats of klear really enjoyed doing my first armour so will be doing more hopefully in a bigger scale.

Great build log Gaz and lots of brilliant photographs, thank you for sharing, if i see one of these airfix kits next time im in the hobby shop i will grab one.

Good stuff mate. I had the exact same kit as my first armour and probably the best to start with too
