Tamiya 1/35 Flakpanzer Gepard

So, had a little time in the mancave this last week, I know right! Finished the egg plane and a couple of 1/72s I had going for practice and will finish the Javelin off once my needles come for the airbrush.

In the meantime I got started on this Flakpanzer. I thought it's be a quick build etc etc, but I was wrong! This is actually a great little kit with loads of moveable parts and some internals too. I have to say that I've really enjoyed building this so far and will probably get another one with a couple of upgrade kits for it, I like it that much....

I thoroughly recommend this kit, so wish I'd done a review of it.....

It's at the stage where it's all ready for primer, which will go on today and sit for 24 hours then I'll start the paint work on it. I may even muddy this up a little...lol

Hearing those two AA guns fireing is frickin intimidating! Too bad those vehicles are out of service already.

Full upgrades can be tricky though
I'm atempting my second upgraded build with a completely upgraded marder III ausf. M and i must say it is a huge amount of work
rewarding when you actaully finish a part of the build but it takes hours for the smallest things
so i wish you the best of luck on your attempt

Starting to come alive now. Just got the lights, flaps, mirrors and smoke dischargers to paint. Plus start work on the tracks as well.

Says the man who finishes half his stash in a week :nena:
Would be shame if you didn't enter
You could do a more simple entry to save some time
