Mr Hobby Dissolved Putty

Hi guys

iIhave in the past used the squadron green putty as my main filler and I also now have the white. Following recommendations I purchased PPP and vellajo which I really like. Then while at the Hendon show I picked up the Mr Surfacer 500, 1000 and 1200. To be honest I think I have it all covered with this lot . I am curious though about the Mr Hobby Dissolved Putty. Does this have any advantage over any of the others listed?

Hi Steve ,

Mr. Dissolved Putty
as the name is indicating, its a putty which comes dissolved .I use it applied with a brush to fill gaps, sink marks and ejector marks.

Oh, be prepared for the smell , it smells lke hell, use a mask .

Im looking at trying that Mr surfacer to have Vallejo now orks ok for me

I have always been tempted to try the dissolved putty. Games Workshop sell a product called "liquid greenstuff" which is also quite good, can be applied with a brush etc, and is water soluble so cleans up easy too. Its also sand able etc. when dry. Not cheap "being a GW product" but quite useful. Does shrink a bit though.

Does it matter how old a thread is? If he searched for Mr Dissolved Putty, finds a thread and posts in it what's the big deal?

To stay on topic, I've used Mr Surfacer many a time and love it. I've not used Mr disolvable putty yet but own it. No gaps big enough yet lol

What good does it do commenting on a 2 year old thread? Its not going to add anything to it
