What video cameras to use for YouTube?

[SiDennis]

Ay up guys

As the subject says "what video cameras to use for YouTube?"
Have been thinking about putting something on YouTube for a while now and was wondering what devices you guys use? Really like the way you can zoom in and out from overhead, don't think my Flick HD is good enough for that.
Also, what editing software do people use?

Many thanks peeps

Ps sorry if it's in the wrong section, it's sort of model related
