buying world war 2 aircraft

good evening peeps. quick question. I've got fathers day and my 9th wedding anniversary coming up and my wife has asked what ww2 aircraft models do I want. where is the best place to buy them from which does good deals? :hi:

Lol well I would decide on what models you want first then go get them :)

What scale do you like building ?

It seems that models in the USA are quite a bit cheaper than in the UK. Therefore, try these two links to hobby suppliers in the USA, you might find that ordering a few items with the shipping costs added on top still works out cheaper than ordering in the UK. I did have a guy in Sweden confirm that it was cheaper for him to order from these sites. Here are the links:

Have a look in the traders section on this forum. Be careful buying from non Eu countries you will be hit for vat and duties over certain limits.

Value kits have good section here and offers 20% discount for ism members. Do you have Facebook? If it's your birthday go buy yourself tamiya corsair or spitfire or p51. Cannot go wrong with any of them.

The 20% discount is just for the mig ammo range of paints and weathering products :thumb2:
