Hi Guys

It's been awhile but I've gradually been getting some figures together to finish off my Steel Rain SIG build dio.

For those that missed the build, I mentioned during it that I was going to make a good sized diorama for it but I needed a few figure sets, I'm gradually getting the figures as they come into stock.

Just a quick recap of the first part of the build, you can find the full thing in the archives.

Here is the first addition, it's the old Tamiya motorbike and a Legend Figure.

This is the next figure I will be working on.

I also have these 2 sets and I'm waiting on 3 more sets from the same series. Slight hiccup with these 2 though, one is missing a MP-38 and the other is missing a Rifle. I contacted the place of purchase and they have contacted TANK to get the missing pieces, so fingers crossed that we get a result.

Anyway this is probably going to be a long drawn out process but I thought I would show you the progress and give you an idea of where it's going.

cheers

Cheers Alex, slowly getting there.

The Russian Peasant women is primed and just waiting on some paint to arrive before beginning.

While I've been waiting for the paint, I decided to begin one of the soldiers.

There was a blemish on his cheek and rather than clean it up, I thought I would try to use it to show a war wound.

Image

It's still very raw as I've only gotten the base colours down on it. I am hoping with a lot more work I will get it looking like a scar.

If anybody has any suggestions regarding painting it they will be gratefully accepted.

cheers

He came up ok I think, though I think the rifle strap is a bit overscale, might have to redo it.

Wow! Amazing how you can paint so much detail at such a tiny scale?! :thumb1: :thumb1:

Cheers PomInYankeeland

Practice mate, lots of it, it seems like lately all I've been doing is painting figures, also all the gear was painted separately and then attached also a good resin figure is so much easier to paint than any plastic figure.

cheers
