Open an account.

Click the upload button, then the blue "choose photos and videos" button. That found open your photo file on your computer. Double click on the photo you want to upload.

Once a photo is uploaded there will be a box with "links to share this photo" on the right. Click once on the code for IMG (it will quickly flash "copied").

Return the forum you want to post at (for example ISM) and at the spot in your post that you want the photo right click the mouse and choose "paste", that will drop the code that looks like: url=xxxx ://s738.photobucket.com/user/marshal8820/media/IMG-20140320-00096_zps520d3c18.jpg.html]Image

Doing it this way means you don't have to use the image function in ISM's "full editor", just copy over that code and it's done.

BTW, when you're the one doing the post all you see is the code in the editor, until it's actually posted for everyone, ie you don't see the picture while you're still writing the post.

I kind of have the same issues with photo bucket to the point of not trying anymore to bad pics from flickr won't work or will they? I guess I could take the time to learn how it works but then NO! I'd rather be building something. Good luck.

Flickr images should work okay. I upload my shots to my own site and they show here with out any problems. As long as they are "on the net" it should be fine to use here.

For some reason, I had problems with Photobucket, too. Selecting the URL tab for each photo wouldn't work....I tried and tried again and gave up. Then when I went back to it about one month later, I selected the photo URL tab, it highlighted and worked?!! I guess Photobucket was having a software issue at the time I joined them?

I think flickr use a 'secure' server, you'll see https rather than http, if this is the case then you won't be able to show these photos

It doesn't matter if it is http or https. Https means you're on a secure connection and your data is encrypted. I mostly use Flickr and it works like a charm.

There are pretty clear instructions on how to post photos from photobucket as well as a video that kinda covers how to do everything on the forum, including posting photos.
It's on the index page of the forum.
but here is a direct link to the page on how to do it.

Here's the video...
