Hello my friends model makers!

Another tank that gets on my desk. Set one I use is the Dragon 6312, it looks good, so construction should go a lot better than the Panzer IV :roll:

In addition it will make the figures and I will try to do a small diorama, we'll see what comes out :think:

The kit, which I will build. Tank;

Okay, if admission is already now is the time to build :)

At the beginning I started with Zimmerit, I did various attempts with puttys but it did not work to me as if I wanted to :(
At last I decided that I would do it a hot screwdriver, risky move ... but I'm happy with the final result.

Magic tracks - Wooow I was very afraid of these tracks :wtf: . I watched many videos on youtube how to do it, and somehow it worked. Finally I used Tamiya extra thin glue.
Very useful video:

Thanks Coen for this video :cheers2:

The next step is making up shortfalls on interior. There still remains a lot to be done ;)

And finally! My second figure in 1/35 scale, I bought the proper paint and painting tools, I hope that will be painted figurines better than before :oops:

:D

I am currently at the stage of photoetched elements :)

For now, that's it, for any advice and help I thank you in advance. By the way, I almost forgot, the most important - painting what I plan;

Heavy Tank Battalion 503

You did all that zimmerit with a hot screwdriver, awesome work mate :thumb1: :th: I just bought my second one of these models mainly because the first one looks like crap :ooops: but I don't think I'll venture into your level of detail. Awesome work :thumb1: :thumb1:

Wow.....nice job with that screwdriver of yours?! :thumb1:

How many times did you have to re-heat the tip of it to do all that and how long did it take overall?!

Thank You for visiting my topic :cheers2:

Ozzie21 It's my second tank in this scale, so I just put the first steps in this subject, zimmerit making by this method is a time consuming, but much easier than using putty :)

UKguyInUSA I think very long about 8-9 hours of work, you need to warm the tip quite often, but the process is very simple and hard to spoil something (I am most afraid of that)

Returning to the model, made it very well (I have temporarily empty house, because everyone left, and in any free time I build a model) :D

Degreasing I use IPA (isopropyl alcohol)

I also made a few niggles and painted interior

Superb, mate!!!!!!! Great attention to detail. :th:

The figures are excellent as well. That camo pattern must have been hard to paint.
