Italieri 1/72 95th Rifles (Napoleonic)

Hi Guys ,

Just for fun and between my recent builds of Airplanes , I made thi vignette with two figures from the Italieri 95th Rifles in 1/72 scale , even the paints that I uesd were from some Humbrol paints that I had of a Waterloo Farm set . This was a first to me , I really do not paint eyes and they are without an expression

But decided to show you , will try to do a Napoleonic diorama soon with some curassiers and scotish infantry that I have from soem time hidden in my stash ...

Hope you like the idea , it was taken from soem small dio that I saw a long time ago in Intranet , I just can't find it , it were the same poses but with a wall behind ...

The base is some wood from a Oporto Wine , grass ant terrain all Tamiya texture paint and Noch static grass , the log os real , I took it from the ones that fallen in the city park near me , the tree is one from Hornby and the high grass is also from Hornby

it was a fun to do and learn a lot from this ...

Cute little dio, mate.....but, I have a question; the guy on the left looks like he peed in his pants....there's a dark patch running down the inside of his right leg?!

maybe is watching the french aproaching , but this particulary guys were of the best of Wellington troops , they were sharpshooters and usually they were in the front of the battle harassing the French .

That dark patch was some leather aplication used in the cavalry ...explaining . This is a large patent oficer , besides they were infantry troops , those were the times of chivalry and to exhibit nice uniforms , you see the ladies and the valses and so ... ...the officiers in this regiment used Hussard like uniforms , if you noticed the jacket is like an Hussard ( The Hussard were light cavalry ) so the guy has cavalry trousers like but was from foot infantry ...

It was a question of fashion in the 1800's years mate , this was like a Hugo Boss suit on those days ....
