BoB Airfield Pens in 1:72 for airfields

Hi everyone.
I just discovered how to scratch build a BoB Airfield Aircraft pen repeatedly at a low cost .

What you need:
Airfix Battle of Britain Airfield set
A box of 2 ply Tissues
Water
PVA glue
Wooden board (not chip-wood or anything that warps with water)
Varnish to seal the wood
Grey paint (wood paint works well, but normal powdered ones for children if mixed thoroughly works just as good)
Saw
1 and a half or 2x bags of Green Javis Railway scatter (No. 19)
Sieve

Procedure:
1. Buy a Battle of Britain Airfield set Diorama set by Airfix. (These are great on money reasons why refer to this http://www.scale-models.co.uk/product-r ... 50015.html )
2. Take out the Airfield pen plastic cast.
3. Get 2 ply tissues and soak them with water but not too much.
4. Mold them in the cast without separating or tearing them and with each layer put in, an amount of of pva glue should be layered with each layer of tissue put in. (only mold in the pen, not the surrounds)
5. Saw the piece of wood board down to size of the actual pen copied.
6. Smear the surface of the board with an ample amount of PVA glue. Gently shake the mold with the tissues until it flops out on the wood board.
7. Wait for it to dry. If it is summer, put it outside but if it is winter, dry it by a heater. Smear a thin layer of PVA glue to the surface of the wet tissue to seal the pen when dried and so it does not crumble and crack when dry.
8. At this stage, ready the scatter and mix the paints.
9. If there are cracks when dried, repeat step 7 filling with small pieces of wet tissue.
10. Once dried, just smear it over with PVA and sieve the scatter over the pen when it is fully covered with it, wait for it to dry.
11. When scatter is dried, paint the Board between the pens runway grey.
12. Finished when dried. If coat of paint is too thin, do it again.
