Airfix 1/71 F-51D

I tried posting this here a few weeks back but my computer kept crashing so I ended up forgetting about it.
The kit is OK most parts are flash free but the aerial was awful so couldnt be used so I found a PE one in my spares box, but my biggest gripe with the kit is the soft plastic airfix use, its horrible to work with and the sprue gates are almost bigger than the small parts, also the canopy if left in the open position wouldnt sit right so it has to be closed, but the Cartograph decals are excellent and the surface detail is very nice.
The paints I used where Revell 90 Silver,310 Lufthansa Yellow, XF-1 Black and then I used a thinned enamel paint for a wash
