Thanks guys !
This is my first venture of that type and probably not the last! I think? We already picked out a possible next subject but ! it might not be for all ? It might be a Canadian AFV of some kind ! Not everybody cup of tea right ?
I will be uploading some pictures (IPhone) quality, Sorry ! I didn't feel like pulling out the Big Canon!! LOL
Storm22tpt and Fasolly1988 are participating in the G.B. Check them out on You-Tube and a few others... We have added Fuel lines to our T-62's and this was a learning experience for all !
As for me... I am late in the game and trying to add an After-market set "after" the kit is built
isn't always the best way of doing things ! I am known for stunts like that... LOL
I am talking about the Legend productions Fuel tanks upgrade set "LF1253" and although this small kit is quite complete ! it is not for the "Not" so patient types !!!
All metal pipes cutting and bending must be accomplished by eye + hand coordination !!! LOL
so all in all !!! You could very well do it on your own... With what's at hand and get a very similar if not better result ??? I probably won't be buying this set again !
Here are a few pictures I toke while working on the Fuel lines ! the Brass wire is Legend Productions but the "Blue" is PVC wire insulation, I used for the Line connectors. Versus the Resin ones given by Legend Productions.
This first shot shows the original fuel line set up but I found it is wrong !
This second shot is after I modified that same fuel line a little... to reflect what I saw on the Web.... It's not exact!!! But at least the line goes into the engine bay!
I might do a small video on how I did that... to let peoples know its not that hard after all !
and oh! The Tow cables supplied in the kit are too small in diameter! but that's nitpicking... LOL
Later guys !
Keep posted !

This picture was very helpful during my work on the fuel lines. I've done it very similar. Yours looks very estetical, my fuel lines looks like a happy monkey creation

Go go Norm!

Thanks guys for the support !
in this business it is "Key" ! support is everything to keep the work happening !
Ok... I have tried something for the first time Ever !!! last night !
I gave the Tank an UNDER COAT !
This Rusty color will be my foundation to which I will base all my scratches and chipping effect on !
You won't see much of it though... as it will be covered in paint and more paint !!! LOL
Its just there to offer a variety of tones and color variations in the Rust and chips that will ensue !
It is my very first time ! so be gentle ! LOL
I will be protecting this RUST JOB with Future Floor Wax Tonight and let it dry for a few days... till it hardens ! Then I will give some areas a coat of Russian Green to give it a Back ground provenance and then some chipping will happen and later another layer of paint.... probably Afghan National Army colors ! and take it from there...
I will work on the wheels and tracks while I wait for that to Cure !
Take care all !

I was told by a dickie bird (scouser actually) the other day that the AK paint range is just re-packaged Vallejo! If that's the case then I should have all these colours already....

I know what you mean and its all possible ! ... You won't need any Paints for the next 100 years ... LOL
Very impressive set up you have ...
as for covering This horrible attempt! its my first time ever using Chipping effects and the sort ! so its all practice ! and if I ever want to do a Full Wreck ? I'll have this behind me !

Here you go mate the low down on ak and Vallejo.
http://www.ak-interactive-usa.com/about.html
I knew they had something to do with each other, but no longer by the look of it, both still produced in Spain, I'll put money on them being the same paints, i bet they smell the same, Vallejo paint has a very distinctive smell.
I would like some of the ak range but I think I've got enoug paints for now, the one thing I would like is the modulation sets, but I can that myself by lightening the paint anyway.

just updating the post !
The Future Floor Wax is Drying and hopefully "Hardening" ! The warm and Humid weather is back and it slows things down a bit !
Can't Wait to start experimenting with Chipping and scratching !
but I have to paint the base coat then start from there !

After the Future Floor Wax was dried I applied a thin coat of Hair Spray rigth from the Rattle Can and Added some Rock Salt To start off my Chipping Effect layer!
Tomorrow I migth be able to Start on the Russian Green and chip away! LOL
Wish me luck! It will be my very first time!
And sorry if I bombarded some of you with 3 or 4 videos in a row! I had the house to myself. Might as well use the quiet time! When it is available.

Sorry for the double post!
Remember this is my First ever try at the SALT technique and Hair Spray technique and very first layer of Russian green!
Lots of firsts! LoL
I will clean this up a little (remove the left over rock salt) Then give some Rust streaking and rust Washes and seal it again with Future Floor Wax and go at it again ! With some afghan national Army colors.
Later dudes

Only their old paint sets are from Vallejo( modulation effects and Afrika Korps) the most recent one's are made by AK and are apparently paint that you can use with both brush and airbrush without thinning.

Had some troubles with the Paint job!
Not sure if I will keep up with my original idea to Add another layer to this tank?
I am debating using some Russian turret Numbers on this paint job to show provenance!
then cover some of it with either paint or chip it off Then layer it again with Afghan National Army Color
It's getting there! Being my first Wreck! I hope I don't make a fool out of meself?
LOL

The kit is really fun to build, was my first trumpeter kit, I liked it so much that I ordered Trumpeter 1/350 Graf Spee.
That's the Tamiya Bismarck in the back, I haven't touched her very much , I'm waiting for PE parts and wooden deck.
