Academy 1/48 KV-107 Vertol Helicopter
Build as the Swedish Navy helikopter HKP 4 in splinter camo.
This type of helicopter used to fly over where i live when i grow up so i just had to build one
However that one did not have a splinter camo it was just an olive drab color .
It`s hard to see the weathering in the Pictures ( bad mobile camera )
but they are there mostly as rain marks done with AK Interaktive Products
I`l upload better Pictures when i get a new camera
The rear view mirrors are scratch build
The "Marinen" decals is from Belcher bits in Canada
http://www.belcherbits.com/lines/decals/bd20.htm#
It`s still missing a few decals i haven`t got my hands on yet i`update when i get them
Painted with Vallejo model air colors
Thanks for looking
More Pictures in my portfolio if you are interested .

Seen them up close at Säve, theyre pretty impressive beasts. Being 1/48, that must swallow alot of space on the shelf! Nice work, the camo looks fantastic!

It does take up a bit of space but displaying it in air it can "hover" above other models so that save some room

Thanks Grover
There was alot of Tamiya masking tape used on it
Putting down the lightest color first masking over that and so on ...
