Need some help please!!!

So I bought the revell 1/35 LTV 1 Amtank... The detail is fine, but there are those god-awfull two piece rubber tracks.. They are too thick and difficult to bend, so when I tried to apply them on the vehicle, they broke apart not even in the joining! It broke right on the sproket, where the track bends the most I would really appreciate if anyone new where I could acquire, either metal or good quality rubber tracks for this vehicle! thanks in advance
