Trumpeter 1/48 Westland Whirlwind

Because I still have to figure out how I am going to replicate the weathering on the underside of the fuselage, I thought I'd share this with you as is. Great kit that builds into a rarely seen example of what was a great aircraft.
The weathering may look excessive - even for me - but it's based on an actual photograph of P6969.
I added PE Sutton seat harness and scratch-built the gunsight and seat cushion - if that could be called scratch-building!
The real deal...

Shes a stunner!! i am really liking these kits that trumpeter/Hobbyboss are releasing.. kits that have plenty of detail but dont take but a few weeks to build.. they are great for in between the more time consuming ktis
