SAS Paddy Mayne 1/9 Bust Western Desert WW2

Post by fly1ngdutchm4n »

Hello guys!
Here's my finished bust of Lieutenant Colonel Robert Blair "Paddy" Mayne.
It's a scale 1:9 bust from Mitches Military Models.
I'm not to happy with the pics, for it was hard to get the lighting right... A well...it has to do I guess...

Not sure how I missed your build thread, Frans, but better late than never, I guess! :th:

Fantastic paint job on Paddy, and probably appropriate that I'm listening to the rugby while commenting here. Great detail work, specially on the medal ribbons and the lanyard. From what I've read about Paddy, you've captured the mad spark in his eye really well.

Maybe this is the inspiration I need to finally finish my vignette with the SAS jeep.

Hobbyboss 1/35 Pzkpfw I ausf F

No worries mate, there's so much going on here on the forum that it's almost impossible to follow everyone's build thread :wtf:

I enjoyed painting this Bust. Getting realism in a face is a hard thing to do, glad i worked out :D
Thank you :cheers2:
