A good friend of mine has recently restarted the hobby and taken off like a mad thing.
What I particularly like about his work are the vignettes he puts the aircraft into.
I'd like to share some shots with you and hopefully inspire some of us to have a go.
All are 1/72nd scale.

'Well that was close. I was on his tail, but ran out of ammo. Then he was back on me but I managed to give him the slip through some cloud. Phew. Come on, get me a beer...'

'Well I was lucky, he was there behind me and I thought that was it, but nothing happened. Then I weaved like this to get on to him, but he went into cloud and was gone. Next time one of us won't be so lucky'

Some great work there. Love the little story with the spit and 109! The main reason I don't put my stuff on bases is purely down to space. I've even got planes balanced on the edge of my tv screen, lol!

Completely with you about the space problem Cheif. Indeed the guy who's put these together is running out of room. I seem to have solved it for myself by failing to start anything. And the boxes stack quite neatly in the stash.

Love the way you've managed to find a black and blue base to match the colour scheme of that Hawk...

Fantastic stuff I'm fairly new back into the hobby and am improving but dio's hold some fear any chance we can have a little build info. But as I said fantastic stuff
