Revell 1:48 AT-6/SNJ Texan

Since this is a long-term group build, and the entry criteria are so easy to meet, I figured that this should be my first GB ever!

I have the 2008 Revell 1:48 AT-6/SNJ Texan kit that has been sitting on my shelf for quite a while. I was screwing around with other stuff... but, I feel like I've learned some important tips lately and wanted to get back to this plane. This is a great excuse!

I just finished masking the canopy for the Texan less than an hour ago, using Swanny's technique from Masking Canopies. This is the first time I've used this technique, as this is the also the first time that I haven't just punted on the canopy detail :oops:

The photo here represents about 5 hours of work. I don't mind saying that I'm really proud of the result I achieved here :thumb2:
