Mannloon's Tamiya Jagdpanther Late build Reveal

There it is, the Tamiya late Jagdpanther converted to a G2. The tracks gave me hell going on, so the sag is all over the place. But all in all I'm happy with how the build went, I learned a lot and she's the prettiest thing on my shelf. Thanks to Seb and Hendrik for hosting this.

Thanks Paul, I owe a lot to your build and the advice you gave me. I decided to skip chipping because of how late these tanks were used in the war. My vision for this vehicle is that it was just sent out, field applied camo and sitting waiting for orders perhaps. Dirty enough to have driven through some fields and been out in the elements but not having seen any action yet. So new, but dirty enough to not look factory new.

Thanks very much Coen. Those are the dreaded workable Bronco tracks. Truth be told I messed them up by not just Magic Track style gluing them from day one. I wanted to leave them workable, then I glued some parts to fit the sprockets and idlers. After that I realized I had the handedness wrong, so last minute switched them, of course then the glued parts didn't match and it was a mess. To top that off the left run is on backwards, which yes I know they did at times, but again it made the track sag worse. I really enjoyed this build, but man those tracks are crap. I'll just go with Friul from now on when I go aftermarket Panther. Anyway, thanks for the compliment, This is the first tank I'm a little proud of. Your videos and advice have been very helpful.

Thanks very much Michael. The tracks are ok, I just know if I'd not glued on the schurzen first, and just glued the tracks together they would look exactly how I wanted them. But that's modelling for you, you have to learn on something.
