Another great model topic, such a sleek beauty
How would you compare the Fujimi kits to Tamiya's in quality of fit and finish?
Seems my favorite Tamiya is not making many 1/20 scale F1 cars anymore
I have ordered a Fujimi 1/20 GP-02 F1 Ferrari 126C2 Long Beach GP which was Gilles Villenueve's last car

Hi Two, I think tamya is a little better in terms of quality of the plastic, the body on this car seems quit hard and the black plastic parts seem soft I will let you know how it goes together as I build it, thanks for looking.

It is going to be a stunning model
Great detail painting on the wheels, I see valve stem holes too
What color scheme are you painting the body red or blue/ green?

I love this car, the blue and orange Gulf livery was my favorite. I remember having several HO scale slot cars as a kid and detailing them up. Loved the Jag in the background too
Cheers, Dave

Nice result. These come out a lot better than the steel from my Alclad bottle. What primer are you using?

How did you "weather" the drive shafts, they look fantastic and real
Is it just a thin flat black wash or something else??
Wish I could get the Zero paint in Canada

Hi two I used Mig ammo engine oil stains on the drive shafts and discs.
I get the zero paint from hiroboy I think he can supply to Canada Have a look on his website he also stocks loads of after market stuff for cars and bikes.

Hi all another small update. Started to fix the decals.
Painted the headlamp covers Tamiya clear yellow.
Removed the chrome that comes on the parts with Mr muscle oven cleaner first time doing that worked as treat, then primed the parts with Alcad gloss black then sprayed with Alcad chrome.
Rear lights painted and fixed in place.
Thanks for looking more soon hopefully.
