The most important fighter in the Battle of Britain. And finished on the 74th Anniversary (how's that for timing?)

It's in the markings of a Hurricane used by 615 Sqduadron Royal Auxiliary Air Force at Kenley in August 1940.

Nice job mate and great timing! :thumb1: :thumb1:

This is the only plane that I have to make a model of to complete my "Battle of Britain" threesome. I already have a Spit and a Lanc built, but just last night I was looking at a great offer for a Tamiya 1/48 Hurricane on Amazon.com complete with three figures that is calling me!

It's only $36.42 including shipping.

One question: did you paint her using enamels or acrylics, and what brand of paint and shades did you use?

Cheers :cheers2:

Martin

Hi Martin.

I used Lifecolor UA 537 Dark Earth, UA 538 Dark Green and UA 539 Sky acrylics. And Tamiya XF-1 Flat Black for the spinner and props.

Cheers mate....those colors look spot on. I'm not sure I can those paints over here in the USA, but I'll check.:
