Revell 1/72 Ju-88 A4

Post by Opapapa »

Finally got some models finished!

This is the quite new tooling from Revell and I have to say that I was really positively surprised. I can highly recommend this kit. The detail was very good. I had PE parts from Eduard but I ended up using only few of them. The kit is painted with Akan paints. The decals are InScale production. I used the stencils and the somewhat visible german crosses from the kits decal sheet.

This model represents JK-256 that served in the 1st flight of Bomber Squadron 44 in Finnish airforce in 1943-44. These planes came from Germany in 1943 in a typical german early war camo. Finns just over painted the German crosses and usually the german markings were still quite visible after that. Later in the war most of these planes got the finnish olive green / black camouflage.

I managed to brake the pitot tube while taking these pictures... idiot. :bash:

Thanks for looking! :)
