Hobby Boss M706 Commando and Master Box figures

At long last, the GB I've been waiting for has arrived! I've had the Master Box figures for some time but could never figure out what to do with them...and then I stumbled upon this Commando kit in the consignment pile at my local shop and just had to have it! I might not use all of the figures, but I certainly wanna make a small dio of some sort! I don't know enough yet about the Cadillac Gage to post a lengthy description of its history just yet, but I hope to learn and share as I go through this build! So without further ado, here are all the sprues and boxes (with amazing art, btw) enjoy!

The hull on this kit is gorgeously molded. It even has some welding details and fits together like butter!

The LMG for the rear cupola leaves something to be desired...but I don't think they ever mounted a .50 cal on the back, so swapping out for one is out of the question methinks.

The interior details aren't too chunky, they all look quite good, so I think I might spend a little time painting up the interior.

The decals for this kit are severely lacking, so I've ordered a PE U.S. Army Star template to airbrush the markings on the doors and hood.

Just look at that art!

All of the figures are nicely detailed and include options for helmets, boonie hats, bare heads, or in the case of the VC, straw hats or bare.
It might seem a bit ambitious for a first GB but I figured with one vehicle in the dio and a handful of nicely posed figures on an 8x12 board it shouldn't be too difficult to come up with something in a couple months time. Ready to dive headfirst into though, allons-y!
