Airfix 1/72 Supermarine Spitfire MkIa

Post by Dunhill2005 »

I had spend my holiday in Kent (Bomb Alley) and visited some museums about the Battle of Britain. I could not go out there with empty hands.
When I was a child I had built my last planes. That's about 20 years ago. :shhh:
Please don't make me totally down! :lol:

Nice looking Spit mate. I thought it was a larger scale until I read your thread title. That's quite detailed for a small scale Spit! :) :thumb1:
WIP:: Tamiya 1/48 F4U-1A Corsair

Non-WIP::Eduard 1/48 Fokker DVII, Revell 1/32 Arado AR196 and 1/32 BF109G10 Erla,

Thank you!!!
I am also absolutely convinced about the quality of the kit. CurrentlyI am building an airplane by Revell in the same scale.
There the details are good too but it has a bunch of flashes.
Although Lee curses Airfix :lol: ,I think they won at this scale and that will not be my last kit... :thumb1:

The new kits from Airfix I find are really good. Some of the old ones are a real nightmare though :-(
