Greetings from Korea.

Post by Flixid »

Hello all.

I started scale modelling again at the beginning of this year after about a 20 year break. Still being a newbie, I rely a lot on Google or Youtube for tips or tutorials and it's amazing how you can get pretty much any information off the internet compared to when I was modelling as a kid. Thank God for it!

I have been spending a lot of time watching ISM videos on Youtube for quite some time now and it has been of tremendous help and entertainment while building my kits. I guess I joined to experience, interact and have a little more fun besides just watching videos.

A little about myself.. I'm a 41 year old Korean living in SOUTH Korea and a graphic/multimedia designer by profession.
Greetings to you all! :bow::

Oh and by the way, if any of you have difficulties reading instruction sheets from Academy kits that are in Korean, I'd be glad to help translate (Yes, they're in Korean, NOT Japanese!).

It's also amazing to see how many different paints, photo-etch, and other add-onn's, etc... there are available compared to about 20 years ago. Not to mention the tools. A lot has changed over the years, but it's also a lot more fun to build stuff. So that can only be a good thing.

Anyway, :welcome: to the forum.
