Cancer Awareness Build (on YouTube)
Posted: Tue Oct 07, 2014 1:10 pm
Recently participated on a Cancer Awareness Build hosted by on YouTube by 'Roadhog0822'.
For this build I choose an old 1985 Hasegawa 1/72 Grumman A-6E Intruder. The kit itself left much to be desired compared to modern kits, but it was for a very good cause.
The colors on the model are representative of three people close to me that have lost their battle with Cancer. The orange represents a cousin who died of leukemia. The white a friend who passed from lung cancer. The grey, a dear young friend lost to brain cancer.
I encourage everyone to have themselves check out regularly especially if you have a family history. Until a cure is found, early detection and treatment is our best weapon against it.
Thank you.
