Dragon 1/72 IJA Type 97 "Chi-Ha"

I bought this kit like two days ago for real cheap and I was up at 6:00 AM so I decided to start it out. It's only my 2nd or 3rd tank, and first 1/72 scale, so it should be an interesting build. I finished it in a couple hours, as it's a small kit.

And as with most Dragon kits, the detail and fitting is just beautiful. The only problem I had were the tracks, which were made out of a type of silicone rubber that dissolves and breaks easily. That said, it'd be impossible for me to not mess at least a couple things up, so I managed to get a couple tears in the tracks. but that's easily fixed with some mud. Overall, I really enjoyed the build and I look forward to the real meat of this build; the painting.

I'm not great at build pics so I forget to take any while I'm making the model, I get too excited

The model looks very small but also pretty nice detailed.
I like the damage on the exhaust.

You did a really good job so far. Looking forward to see some paint on it.

Yeah the detail for the size is excellent. It actually looks bigger in the pictures. I'll get some pictures up soon whenever I can work on it. I've got a bunch of projects waiting in line
