Eduard 1/48 FW190D-9

Post by JonMW »

Got this done a few days ago, it was supposed to be a quick build. But it took a wile longer then I had planed. Nothing really special just build out of the box, painted in a mix of Alclad, Vallejo and Akah paints.

Well if I can achieve this standard at some point in the future I will be doing a victory dance or something alike (and I strictly don't ever dance).
Looks beautiful.
Sir, we're surrounded!
Excellent! Now we can attack in any direction!

I agree with all of the above, if this is "nothing special" then I've got a longer way to go than I first thought (probably true anyway ;) )

did you use the Akan paints for the main camo?

Thanks for the comments!

I guess I'm a bit over critical of my own work as I see quite a few mistakes on this.

WhiteJC: The RLM76 is Vallejo and the others are Akan, which are some of the best paints I've used.

I'm gonna agree with everyone else.... Cracking job Jon :th:
I've tried Akah briefly and your right bud, lovely paints.
Yes.. It is supposed to look like that!

Stunning, I love the long nose Fockewulfs! This is an impressive homage to such a spectacular aircraft!
