photo upload other then Photobucket

Does anyone on here know how to embed photo links from other phot sharing site other then PB?

I am trying to figure out the little buttons at the top of this that say IMG and URL but nothing works, but I can post a link, but the image does not show up.

I use Blue Melon and don't want to have to keep transferring photos to a very limited PB site.

Thanks

Think i sussed it for you Greg...

Image

Okay, so i just set up a test Blue melon account to try for you and the above image is shared from the test photo i uploaded.

Click your image and get the big picture with the icons in the bottom right as shown in the next 2 pictures...
IMG_20141027_165542.jpg
Click the image to get to this and choose the image menu here...
IMG_20141027_165603.jpg
Choose "get links" for this window to appear..
IMG_20141027_165109.jpg
Just highlight the required size ( i chose 800x600 ) then copy ( Ctrl+c )

On the forum choose Img button, the cursor will flash between the 2 [IMG] markers then just Ctrl+v to paste.
Use preview to test all is okay..
Hope this helps... :thumb1:
:cheers2:

Here are a couple more images to show how I did it...

This is what my text looks like...
IMG_20141028_101856.jpg
I use the [img] button here to place the image text copied from the links window on Blue Melon..
IMG_20141028_101742.jpg
After clicking the [img] button the cursor is placed in the middle ready to just paste or Ctrl+v the code in...
Again I just highlighted and copied the 800x600 image link then pasted it between the [img] tags in my post text.

Actually it was me, there is a setting in Functionality, and I had at one time turned off external links. I had no idea what it was when I turned it off, just did not want people digging into my sheeeeeet.

Thanks for the help.

Blue Melon Costumer support is excellent, they went into my account several times and found two things I had turned off.

Check out my photos on the Vietnam Group build.
