I am in for the rising sun with a 1/32 Tamiya Zero, the homeland GB is a airliner in an "homeland scheme" ok ?

Are there short descriptions for each of the SiG's and GBs? Such as the era's and specifics of each?

New Age Desert Rats - Any Vehicle, AFV or Aircraft used in any modern desert conflict. Iraq, Afghanistan etc...

The Rising Sun - Anything Japanese from any period right up to modern day.

Homeland GB - Something from your own country - Will stipulate a time period if this gets chosen ie 1950 -1975 etc.

SIGs

Heil The Hunters - Any German Jagd (Hunter) from WWII.

Modern Armour -Any AFV from 1975+

Eye Spy - Scout/Recce vehicles and aircraft.

In The Navy - Any naval aircraft.

Can I do a late-model StuG III for the Hunters GB? It doesn't have a "Jagdpanzer" or "panzerjager" name; the early models were 'assault guns', hence the name "Sturmgeschutz" - literally "Storm/Assault Gun". However, the late models (Ausf.F.8 and G) of the StuG III were designed for the tank destroyer/hunter role with their increased armour and long guns. So they are technically panzerjagers!

Furthermore, the StuG IV was designed purely to be a tank destroyer but kept the StuG/Sturmgeschutz title because it was based off of the StuG III's design, but on a Pz.kpfw.IV chassis rather than the III

So are the Stugies allowed?

Question on the modern armor build. are there any scale limitations? 1/100 scale acceptable? Also are resin kits acceptable?

I was thinking about homeland gb. Its damn hard to find anything but modern swedish armour except if you go for aircraft. Im not interested in aircraft. I got the taste for beeing in a gb so plz make the homeland rules with this in mind.

The rules seem to be pretty general already... "Something from your own country"

No offence, but maybe the problem is with the country, as opposed to the GB How are you swedes supposed to defend yourself with no armour? I find it very hard to believe that Sweden has ZERO AFV options for ya. You'll probably have to but conversion kits and alternate decal sets...but, as I said, that has more do with with whatever country your from, than the GB rules

I had a similar thought about this GB, then Lee showed me something he wrote in another thread:

"Oh and Homeland GB will more than likely be 1950 - 2000. That should suite most people "

I guess you will be ok with swedish armor in that period

Ouch harsh and nasty comments from mickeys mooses it's not easy being a swedes waiting to become Russian! BUT the problem I had was if there would be a specific time period on the gb 1930-1945, If the time period would be 1930- ww2 there are hardly anything out there for us swerussians, No problems if it's modern. 1950-2000 is no problems. 1930-1945 then I have wait to become ryski to join the gb.

Its all nice and dandy with conversions kits but are usualy very expensive.
I repeat all I asked for was consideration since there will be a time period on the homeland gb.

Licence-built Czech TNH/Pz.38t It's not of Swedish design, but it's 'from' Sweden in the sense that they built it there!

Maybe you could mod a Pz. 38t kit?

Are Hetzers allowed?

Also for the "Homeland" GB I was going to build a Sherman (can't get much more American than that) but I'm not sure about the history time frame for that GB.
Will WW2 armor be allowed or is it only modern vehicles?

Not to be a pain in the rear but the official name of the hetzer is jagdpanzer 38t and not hetzer
That name was given to it after the war but should belong to either the E-10 or the E-25
Although you and Lee are the admins and make the decicions ofcourse

What are the restrictions on homeland.

This is going to be my first GB and one of my first models so I want to get everything sorted early.

I'll be joining the Navy for my first group build. I already have the kit on the way. I have another kit in the meantime that I'll be starting after New Year's to get some more experience.

Would the Northrop Grumman X-47B be OK for the EyeSpy SiG?

I think I might jump in a give one of the GB ago though if that's OK? most likely the German Hunting Panzer's, maybe a jägdtiger I've been wanting to build one for a while.

I'm probably gonna sound like that guy that no one wants to sit next to because he thinks he knows it all but at the risk of being run out of ism the name "Hetzer" was used during the war for a brief time, It was the designation for a related prototype, the E-10! After the The Škoda mad a mix up in there paperwork confusing the related proto type (The E-10) with the Jägdpanzer 38 (t) causing the very first unit equipped with the vehicle for a few weeks to apply the incorrect name "Hetzer" to it! until matters were cleared up.

Heinz Guderian wrote a memorandum to Hitler claiming that an unofficial name, "Hetzer" had spontaneously been coined by the troops. And Post-war historians basing themselves on this statement continued using the name making it popular through their works, but the vehicle was never named "Hetzer" in any official documents!

Has any time period stipulation been decided on, for the Homeland Group build?

Being a newbie here, I have zero idea of how to sign up for one of these builds and especially since I have no experience with any kind of armor. Whether it's WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, The Gulf War, etc.... However, I am building a stash slowly but surely and intend to invest in some modern armor like the Abrams, Challenger and other modern warfare vehicles, starting this week. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Some GB and SIG have folders already created, but others do not. Can we get a sticky of the description, say placed in the GB folder. I know I have seen a list of the descriptions but am not able to find it in a place I would imagine it to be. It is probably there but I am blind.

Is a Czech Master Resin 1/72 Fokker C.X (Finnish Version) allowed in Eye Spy SiG?

The Fokker C.X was used as a recce and bomber aircraft by the Finnish Airforce during WWII.
