A long term disaster which gets worked on when I have nothing else.

Everything about this kit is terrible, parts fit, sink marks, ejector pin marks etc all where you don't want them. Tracks are shockers as well so they'll be replaced one day and the supplied plastic rope for the winding engine is :wall: :wall: :wall: so it's getting replaced with something, anything else.
The metal tool boxes are supplied without frames so added some from Evergreen styrene shapes. And another figure or two to be painted.

Thanks for sharing, I had considered this kit, because it seemed unique.

I have built several Italeri kits and have not thought highly of them, at least older ones, P IV and Chafee, but have several more in my stash.

I am wanting their line of Torpedo boats and Landing crafts, does anyone have thoughts or experience on them?

Have to agree with you Charles about the Italeri - Ive got this in the stash and want to get another but scared off by the poorer quality compared to my Dragon Panthers....

Having said that, I keep buying Italeri kits - I feel their wheeled stuff is brilliant Autoblinda, Staghounds etc - I also have the Bergetiger which is on par with their late Tiger which I built recently, i.e about 6/10

Keep going though - looks good so far!

Yeah but Charles, it looks great.
Maybe a poor kit but your the guy that makes it work.
You'll know, some of us will know, but the majority will think genius.
Love your build.
