Looking very good :)
Not sure about the way you named this project though, it kinda confuses me. Zuhälter means pimp in English, quite a strong word in German :nena:

I have a couple other figures that I will end up using in the diorama, and I will end up painting the general at the same time as the other figures, otherwise I risk forgetting which paints I used and have a mismatched uniform (in which case it's not really a uniform). All should be revealed near the end of Tiger GB in Coen's honour.

Yes.
- It looks like a fine ride for a pimp.
- Ask anyone what under the rank of major what they think of generals and sooner or later the word pimp will come up.
- It also fits how I feel about the build.

I see! I suggest a grammatical correction anyway, it would be "Der Zuhälterwagen".

Das auto, der wagen, die pussy. German grammatical lesson from a girl in Frankfurt. :shifty:

Das auto, der wagen, die meow. German grammatical lesson from a girl in Frankfurt. :shifty:
I took one semester of German in High School. I failed that course, I only signed up for it because there was a very pretty German exchange student there that year and the teacher wasn't bad either.

I speak Canadian and Scottish English. There is no masculine and feminine objects. Everything can be referred to as "That fu@@ing <name object here> ". Same with French. I was kicked out of French class once for turning a chair over and pointing out "It's BS <the long version>, it's got no <nasty name for boy parts> or <nasty name for girl parts>". I spent a lot of time in the principal's office....

I'm not offended, I don't see what would have caused offense. :cheers2:
But I am better at given than receiving.

There is no masculine and feminine objects.
In German you have to learn these by heart, there is just no logic rule.

Das Auto (neutral) - the car
Die Motorhaube (feminine) - the engine hood
Der Reifen (masculine) - the tire

That is most likely the hardest bit of learning German, you just have to know the article word for every single noun by heart.

Now enough of that, but i have to admit it amuses me a lot :)

I'm still working on the figures, and even more are being added, but I did make a smallish mistake with them.

I sprayed on the grey for the pants and brushed on the German grey on the tunics, I should have done that in reverse, the brushed paint will always be a bit thicker and it's softened the detail on the tunics a bit. I should have sprayed on the tunics and used the A/B to get the thinner layer to maintain the details and then hair brushed on the pants where there's no real detail to lose. Live and learn.

Slowly working on some of the figures:

The general has a secretary:

Her head is huge. It's a masterbox set, the heads on the rest of the figures are fine, but even the box shows her with a massive head:

Jeez bye, don't they have one of these monsters in Ottawa at the war museum? I thought that I saw one there. It had bullet holes in the glass.
This is a wicked piece Forbes... No matter how pimpy you think she be. :)
