Hello here is my entry to the build.

Ling Temco Vought F8-E Crusader:

The L.T.V. F-8 Crusader is the first super-sonic carrier-borne fighter in the world.

The Crusader established many records on speed and flight performances since its first flight on March 25, 1955.
Though nicknamed in its early days "The Last Gunfighter", the later version , F-8E, became a powerful fighter bomber
having wing pylons with the capacity of a maximum 4,000 pounds of external stores.

Crew:1, Wingspan:10.72m, Length:16.61m, Height:4.80m, Max take-off weight:15,420kg, Powerplant:P&W/J55-P-20.

Nice build choice, get cracking on it!
I like the little 1/72 Hasegawa kit, the Huey I made was actually pretty decent for such a low price

Hello, here are some more updates, the build going together nicely -



Assembled and ready for paint


Primed with AK's Polymer Grey Primer



Preshaded - Tried to use Mig's Matt Black (acrylic) but i seem to struggle to get fine lines out of the airbrush, either i am getting blockages in the airbrush or the paint dries up the tip???, had to resort to the old faithful Tamiya Flat Black to get the fine lines through the airbrush.


Bottom of the Crusader painted with Tamiya's Flat White, hopfully i havent covered up the preshading too much.

She's looking really nice Benny. The pre-shading on the white underside showed through nicely, I thought.

is that a raised panel line kit? it looks great so far!
