Started something new while the paint drys on the Marauder
Seafire F.XVII

Assembled the cockpit

Not built a Spitfire/Seafire for years, so far great model

Decided to build wings folded just for a change

Just got to decide which colour to paint it, no 2 is favourite

Sprayed the underside of the Seafire, Hu90
Funny paint this one it seperates if it's a bit thin, needed to use airbrush to dry it quicker

Oh, that looks like a nice kit. Always wanted to build a Seafire, and I'm to hear that being an AIrfix kit, it's going together well

She's looking nice already.....I just love that color scheme on the Seafire, I don't know what it is, but it really grabs my attention?!
Looking forward to seeing this one completed, and I think you've got me drooling enough already to buy one!

What are the two colors that you have used for this model, Graham? Is it the Humbrol 123 Extra Dark Sea Grey and the Humbrol 90 Beige Green?

Spot on, I use acrylic airbrushed the Hu90 and brushed the Hu123
Coated with Humbrol clear
Decals applied using Microset & Microsol
