So this Lanc NG347 was one of 400 built at Armstrong-Whitworth at Baginton in Coventry. She is seen in the markings when she was on strength with 424 (Tiger) Sqdn RCAF from January-October 1945, which was based at Skipton-on-Swale as part of 6 Group Bomber Command. NG347 was scrapped in May 1947. Having Canadian heritage I had to do an RCAF one :)

And seen here with my recently completed Lanc B.Mk.II to give an indication of size.

:jd: Thats a bloody huge comparison mate! I saw the first picture of the 72nd one compared to this 48th one and literally went "Oh my god". Amazing work, I hope you have enough shelf space!

Woahhhh....that 1/48 looks huge next to the 1/72. I built the 1/72 B.II, same as yours....it was a great new kit by Airfix. Would love to do the Tamiya 1/48, but too pricey for me to warrant the expenditure.

Great job on both mate! :) :thumb1: :thumb1:

Beautiful job on both!

I've wanted to build the Tamiya Lanc since they came out but have never been able to afford one.
