Global Scale Modeller

This is my first kit build in sometime and I made loads of mistakes. decals, and glue on the clear parts and as I stated in my introduction thread
my airbrush skills were learned on my RC planes so will need some fine tuning.

Which kit is it?

A lot to be proud of there. As Mincemeat mentioned, you've done a great job of the camo and your canopy framing looks excellent too. You might be able to eliminate those pesky bits of silvering on the walkway decals by pricking them with a pin and applying small drops of MicroSol; sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Regardless, an impressive return to the hobby.

It was a Tamiya 1/72 bomber kit. I have a digital copy of the Osprey "modelling the De Havilland Mosquito"
and it looked like a good place to start.

The decals were a nightmare I have to say they were when I was a kid too and I made pretty much all the same sort of mistakes I did back in the day.
I nearly stamped on it when walkway ones went wrong and started to tear and deform

So that's is the main area I'll try to improve on the next kit. Also maybe 1/72 is a bit small for old eyesight these days

That's my problem, age has the better of me now so 1/48 scale is the smallest I dare go, and even then, there are some details that I still have problems with. I think I should stick to 1/24 scale, but I have no storage room for that size!

you should try hiding 30+ RC warbirds

Really, this first one in 35 years??? Looks like you have been modeling for years. It looks fantastic. Superb build.... If this is your first, I can't wait to see your next ones....
