Final reveal: Italeri 1/48 Boston A-20B Douglas III

Post by Roland »

I could swear I posted it this afternoon but somehow it seems to have disappeared, so I will try again!

My second 1/48 Aircraft ever and my first entry in a Group Build ever! Very chuffed :D

Without further ado, here she is:

Douglas A-20B/Boston III carrying the Free French Airforce D-Day Livery.

Please note, the fingerprint falls under Artistic Licence :D

I am very happy with how the homemade raft turned out:

Well, that is that! Thanks for stopping by!

Wow, I really like the look of that plane! It reminds me of the P-61B Black Widow except it only has the one tail.

Fabulous job mate, I really like it! :) :thumb1: :thumb1:

Thanks guys! I wasa bit stressed because I started so late but I like how it turned out. I am glad I picked it though because I really like the Boston as a subject. It is in my favourites list along with the Black Widow, B25 Mitchell, B17 etc. I find it iconic and the markings were too unusual to pass up :)
